Ancuta Musina I am a Romanian multidisciplinary artist based in Ireland and a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts at South East Technological University (SETU). My academic background in law informs a practice defined by a strong commitment to justice and a sustained inquiry into human behavior, ethics, and inner truth. My work investigates themes of identity, belonging, and the psychological complexity of the self, with particular emphasis on the emotional dimensions underlying outward appearances. I employ drawing, painting, photography, installation, sculpture, and digital media, selecting the medium according to conceptual intent rather than adhering to a single discipline. I am currently developing a series of large-scale charcoal drawings titled The Crowd Within, which examines the complexities of the human psyche. The inherent instability of charcoal and the fragility of paper serve to reflect the shifting nature of thought and emotion, thereby mirroring the vulnerability and multiplicity of inner experience that are central to my practice.
