Gala was born in Moscow in 1971. From her early childhood was interested in visual arts, devoting herself to this magical occupation for hours. Howewer, it did not become her main profession. Having graduated from Russian University of History of Cultures, Gala was engaged in managing different cultural projects, both local and international. Also worked as an art manager with Russian artists.Began to paint again in adulthood under the influence of her internal rethinking and desire of free self expression in art.Perceiving art as a process of intuitive-sensual expression of personality, she values in art expression without conditions. Plots of paintings started to come to her in the dreams and with some time they began to be embodies in reality. The pictures of Gala are distinguished by a variety of genres and techniques, bold use of open color and color combinations. Color is often the main foundation for the artist's emotional and sensual expression, as well as for building of compositions. Her canvases are characterized by the use of textural techniques - ancient techniques of levkas (a special primer that was used for writing icons), and modern technology and materials. Gala does not limit itself to the choice of one stylistic direction, and is always ready for creative experiments, the use of new original conceptual solutions. Expression, symbolism, conceptualism, bright colors characterize the works of art of Gala. Over 5 years of creativity, the artist held about 10 personal exhibitions in Russia and abroad, participates in festivals and competitions.
