Murray

Ro Murray is trans-disciplined artist, whose art practice is influenced by her former career in architecture, graduating from UNSW (BArch Hons 1976), and later attending the National Art School, majoring in sculpture (BFA Hons 2010). Since 2018 her practice has focussed on relief printmaking. Ro is also part of the creative partnership Murray and Burgess, who make installations concerned about the environment, using recycled materials.

Ro has staged many solo exhibitions and been selected for many art prizes and awards. This year she will take part in Sydney Contemporary and Canberra Art Prize.
