Rosa Mundi is the pseudonym of a Venetian artist who grew up in the Venetian lagoon, in a city founded 1600 years ago and often
called "the oldest city of the future", cradle of great Renaissance artists such as Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese, Canaletto, Longhi, as
well as futurists such as Boccioni, Balla and many others. Her presence in the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka takes on a
particular significance, being Yumeshima, the island of the future of the 21st century. Her creations arise from an in-depth
philosophical and quantum exploration of the history of humanity and its relationship with the infinite universe. Rosa Mundi
investigates the most present but inscrutable aspects that exist between the apparent and the invisible, both in matter and in
thought. Her works offer a reinterpretation of the theatre of the world, often with a vision beyond time and space, sometimes
philosophical, quantum and futuristic. Her creations are born from an in-depth philosophical and quantum exploration of the
history of humanity and its relationship with the infinite universe. Rosa Mundi investigates the most present but inscrutable
aspects that exist between the apparent and the invisible, both in matter and in thought. Her works offer a reinterpretation of the
theatre of the world, often with a vision beyond time and space, sometimes philosophical, quantum and futuristic. Over 30 years
ago, she founded the neo-spatiality movement, which, inspired by the visions of Lucio Fontana, led her to represent the infinite:
not in the imagination behind a tear in a canvas, but in transparency and the infinitely small, enclosed between two transparent
walls. She is attracted by the past and, at the same time, is deeply involved in the future, elements almost always present in her
works, making them interact with the exhibition space and the public in a stenographic dimension of art. The choice of materials
is a key element of his works, which range from the recovery of ancient materials to the experimentation of new ones. In his
atelier in Venice, he moves with ease between the processing of marble, iron, clay, wood and, above all, glass and recycled plastic,
which I transform into transparent canvases. It contains a sort of "non-space", beyond time, the infinitely small. It often hides a
message written in Latin, ancient Greek or Aramaic. The choice of an ancient, or rather, "dead", language is deliberate, to
symbolize the infinite translatability. It is as if the ancient knowledge of our roots could revive and be passed down to future
generations through the fibres and matter of my works, conferring immortality and eternal life to the humanity that preceded us.
The transparency he creates, using glass and recycled plastic from the sea as a double-sided canvas, is at the center of his research
on a spatial concept strongly linked to infinity and to the different interpretations that the eye of the observer can grasp and
reinvent. Through the fluidity and mobility of his works, he presents to the observer my vision of the world, and the impalpable
and fluid material sense of our gaze and our memory. The armillary sphere, in marble, with its perfect three-dimensionality, offers
