Sachin was born on the island of Mauritius in 1979 and is currently based there. He studied Actuarial Sciences in London and returned to Mauritius, where he spent almost 18 years in the financial sector before deciding to pursue arts and graphic design in late 2020. He signs his work with the pseudonym “inshō” which means first impression in Japanese.
