Mukhtar

Helene is an animator, painter and video installation artist. She was born in Nice, France, where she spent her formative years. She now lives and works in Brooklyn. She studied at the School of Visual Arts and the Art Students League in New York City and received an MFA from Florida State University.
 Her work has been exhibited in the US and abroad. Solo shows and art fairs include 440 Gallery in Brooklyn, Galerie ArtSud in France, Ion Studio in Soho, the Broadfoot and Broadfoot Gallery in New Jersey, the 155 Project in Manhattan, the Asia Contemporary Art Fair in Hong Kong, Art for Florence Design Week in Italy and ArtExpo in New York City.
In her work, Helene celebrates the human spirit and life on our planet in all its forms. She creates a colorful, magical world where abstraction mixes with realism, energy and humor.
