Michał Mroczka was born in 1984. He comes form Lipnica, Podkarpacie Region in Poland. Currently he lives and creates in Warsaw, Poland. In 2009 he graduated from UMCS in Lublin with a Master of Fine Arts- major in painting.
He is an active member of Stowarzyszenia Pracownia Otwarta w Lublinie (An Open Workshop in Lublin, Poland). He is also co-author of a model of Warsaw city center (before II World War in 1939). The model is exhibited in Teatr Kamienica (Kamienica Theatre) in Warsaw, Poland. Laureate of The Retro Golden Leaf- a special prize founded by the polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage awarded for promoting a polish interwar period. In 2015 he was a finalist of Grand Prix F. Eibisch Foundation. In 2018 he was a finalist of Polish Painting Contest of Leon Wyczolkowski. His painting "Parashuter" is on the cover of a book "Nie ma", author Mariusz Szczygiel.
