CREATION

My prefered material for creation is clay. I like to treat it in polychromy, especially by glazing, sometimes with inclusions of resin or other components. I currently conceive installations with collected objects, and others where landscape is animated with light, movement and sound. I also do collage.

2003    Sculptures and bas-reliefs of polychrome landscapes in various media (cardboard, resins...)

2008    Heraldic bas-reliefs and paintings

2011    Establishment as a full-time sculptor : sculptures mostly in clay, and in various media

2015    New artistic period with sculptures mostly in mixed media (installations), also collage and numeric art.

INSPIRATIONS

I have multiple inspirations, but the beauty of landscape – natural or architectural – remains my primary source. This is linked to my questioning about the fate and the quests of mankind, and its relationship to nature. My ambition is to shake and inspire mankind so that it could have a harmonious development, respectful of both Humans in all their dimensions and the fragile planet Earth we live in.

I also deal with the themes of addiction, identity, transmission and change.
