Giorgio Mostarda (1967) was born and lives in Terni, Italy.
Since he was a child, following his father footsteps and passion for photography, he started being curious and started getting close to photography using his first “camera”, the Diana, one of his Christmas gifts when he was 6 year old.
He later discovers the secrets of studio, still life and industrial photography and the magic of the dark room when he was hanging around the Studio Caporali in Terni, studio with which his father collaborated.
Umbria, region where he lives, with its many sources of inspiration, offers him the opportunity to get passionate about photographing the landscape.
His photographic horizon widens when, traveling around the world while completing his service in Italian Navy, he discovers the sea and its charm.
Photography, travels and sea become the most important source of inspiration of his artistic carrier.
Traumatic was the transition from analog to digital photography; he then makes the decision to continue using both techniques.
He successfully attends a Master in portrait, still life and fashion photography at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Terni, Italy.
