We are a team of three girls, Monica Moschini, Alessandra Paparcone, Francesca Porro, recently graduated in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano. During our academic careers we had the opportunity to study in different places abroad and to take part in countless competitions and workshops concerning multidisciplinary approaches from landscape, art, industrial design to scenography, that had involved us also in exhibitions, performance and publications. A transversal path that ended with a final work that involves the intersection of the landscape architecture with an artistic production, strong in terms of communication. A design process that wants to suggest a possible optimistic future scenario in the 2100 concerning one of the most important issue of our time, the acceleration of climate change, in particular focusing on the risk of the sea level rise. "2100 a sea odyssey" is especially an awareness raising project that found the strength of its own communication in the use of an unconventional tool: an illustrated history that is able to make comprehensible and readable this issue for a heterogeneous public. The work has been chosen ad a theme for a Landscape design Studio at Politecnico di Milano, in which students will draw, analyze, think and design on a future scenario, the one that we imagines in the 2100.
