My name is Matteo, and I am currently attending the Liceo Artistico statale of Treviso. Through the school, I have also had the opportunity to exhibit my artworks in the city center of Treviso. My paintings consistently address contemporary issues such as war and social problems. I explore these themes using self-descriptive imagery and symbolic elements, which help to convey the deeper meaning of each piece. I choose to focus on these powerful subjects because, too often, people perceive such problems, like war, as distant or unrelated to their own lives. Through my art, I aim to provoke reflection and raise awareness, reminding viewers that these issues are real and present. In terms of technique, I primarily work with acrylics, oil pastels, spray paint, and mop markers. All the surfaces I paint on are self-constructed.
