Edurne Morales is a Mexican multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice lies at the convergence of architecture, computational design, and digital fabrication. With a strong foundation in contemporary design, computational design, and digital fabrication, her work explores natural materials, sustainability, vernacular practices, and innovation. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) and a Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture and Digital Fabrication from ETH Zurich (Switzerland).
Her work has been showcased internationally, including exhibitions at the Venice Biennale (Venice, 2021), ZAZ Zurich (Zurich, 2020), Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin (Berlin, 2024), Zona Maco (Mexico City, 2023), How Space Can (2024), Design Week Mexico (2023–2024) and NYLAAT (2025). She was part of award-winning and shortlisted projects such as the Moroccan Pavilion (Venice Architecture Biennale 2025), the Innovation Award (Inédito - Design Week Mexico 2022), the Make It Circular Challenge (2024), and the Dezeen Awards (2023).
Morales is currently an Associate Researcher at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), where she works on sustainable construction systems using large-scale 3D printed unfired clay. She is co-founder of Manufactura (Mexico), partner at Robocraft (Dubai), and actively collaborates across disciplines on projects involving design, digital craft, computational design, and material innovation.
