Born in 1965 in Poland, she arrived in France in 1982, becoming, the year after, a student of Fine Arts in Paris, then Paris I, in the history of art. Her course is quite logical and coherent, punctuated by exhibitions, editions, successes and disappointments, like everyone else.
Painting, photography, drawing, engraving, carefully learned and digested, allow Magda to operate on a canvas, on a sheet, in her head, this strange mixture of techniques of its own. At one point, Magda met photoraphy which she explores with passion and freshness. Then the Butoh came, who is since the resource, guides her to the body, the movement. In the same way the writing, mastered and diverted, slips, like a murmur accompanying the drawings, engravings or photographs. And Magda becomes aware of it, little by little.
Since 2017, co-organizer of the Bienniale de Gentilly.
