Daniel Montero is a Colombian-born, New York-based

photographer recognized for his serene yet vibrant

compositions that merge minimalism with emotional

depth. Self-taught from a young age, Montero’s

passion was sparked by his father’s love for

photography and solidified at fifteen, when he began

traveling with his camera, capturing landscapes,

cities, automobiles, and fleeting moments of light.

His work explores themes of solitude, presence, and

perception, often emphasizing the geometry of the

natural world and the subtle interplay between light

and form. Lopez draws inspiration from master

photographers such as Peter Lik, whose immersive

galleries first ignited his vision for how art could

transform a space.

With a portfolio spanning mountains wrapped in mist,

reflective coastlines, and dreamlike urban scenes,

Lopez’s photographs are sought after for their ability
