I am a self-taught Yemeni-Tunisian
artist and member of the Tunisian Artists’ Union, I have been practicing my
passion for painting since I was 4 years old, inspired by my mother who is a self-taught
artist as well. Now in my 31 years old, I master water colors, oil and acrylic
painting techniques. I always keep a room for my own imagination and feelings
to be expressed and shown through her art works. Inspired by the abstraction of
complex psychedelic states of the mind with a pinch of fantasy, my style is a
crossroad between surrealism, art nouveau and symbolism. I also master figurative and realistic
portraits since my 10 years old. Next to my self-learning potential; I have
followed interior design courses at The Fine Arts University in Tunis, which
gave a sense of detail and precision to my artistic works. I obtained a
Master’s degree in this field in 2014. I have also experienced 3D modeling and
VFX in a professional training at SP3Dschool. I maintain a personal blog where I
adorn my paintings with personal poetic texts (https://artcontrecourant.blogspot.com/) and I regularly upload new paintings to my
personal behance account (https://www.behance.net/mokredart206d).
