I am a 15-year-old Iranian artist and student currently studying at Kherad School in Tehran, where I was born
and raised. My artistic journey began at the age of four, when I first encountered rhythm through percussion.
Since then, music has grown into an essential part of how I understand and process the world around me.
Over the years, I have developed experience in traditional Iranian instruments, including the Tonbak and Daf,
both of which are deeply rooted in the cultural and emotional heritage of my country. I have also explored the Cajón,
and more recently, I have begun studying piano and vocal performance, expanding my musical language beyond
traditional boundaries while continuing to remain connected to my roots.
Alongside music, I have been writing poetry in both Persian and English since the age of nine. Writing became
my earliest form of emotional expression a way to translate thoughts, memories, and unspoken feelings into language.
My poetry often reflects themes of identity, emotional conflict, human vulnerability, and the invisible weight carried
through lived experience.
As a young artist who has grown up in a region shaped by uncertainty and conflict, I am deeply interested in
the emotional and psychological impact of war on individuals and society. My work seeks not only to document
these experiences, but to give them voice transforming silence into sound and personal memory into collective
understanding.
Through the fusion of music and poetry, I aim to bridge cultural tradition with contemporary expression.
I strive to preserve elements of Iranian musical identity while also exploring universal human emotions that
transcend borders.
My artistic goal is to create work that is both personal and shared intimate in its origins, yet resonant on a global scale.
