Alexandra
Mohr has been working as an independent artist and commissioned painter since
2003, but it wasn't until 2018 that “The Times” was ripe and she decided to
show her pictures and herself to the public for the first time.
Exhibitions
or even being the center of attention were never her driving force in painting.
When "The
Times" came into her life, her letters became bold colors, words became loops, and her sentences became swirls and waves, signifying a time of
change.
The key
image was the beginning of the first series “The Times”, entitled: “Past,
Present and Future 1”, Alexandra Mohr won the Finalist Award/Shades of Blue
2020 from the CAMELBACK Gallery, USA.
This was
followed by online exhibitions, various competitions and prizes won, until in
2021-2022 she took part in two large museum group exhibitions in Chongqing and
Henan, China with nine of her works (represented by Pashmin Art Gallery,
Hamburg).
The work
“Past” from the series “The Times” was selected for the introduction of the web
spot by the TV channel Eye 1-Chongqing for the five-month joint museum
exhibition in the 32 million metropolis on the Yellow River Chongqing, China.
Alexandra
Mohr was present in another group exhibition with three of her works at the PAN
Museum, Emmerich am Rhein, for two months in May 2023.
