Eric Micouleau, a 40 year old artist, is a passionate and innovative creator in the world of art and wine.
Having grown up surrounded by the wine richness of the Bordeaux region, Eric has always been fascinated by the idea of marrying tradition and modernity in his works.
This passion led him to open his own engraving and cutting workshop, where he creates personalized objects for individuals and event professionals.
In 2017, Eric received the Creation and Innovation Prize in Paris and Bordeaux for an innovative creation in the wine world: a wooden bottle box cut on the front with patterns and which has the particularity of transforming in atmosphere lamp to second life.
he also launched the first luxury champagne box made entirely by hand in collaboration with L'École BOULLE in Paris.
This box, exhibited at the Intercontinental Grand Hotel in Bordeaux, has been acclaimed for its use of ecological materials and its unique design.
His current project "Pixel Wine" pushes the boundaries of creativity even further. Eric uses recycled corks to create laser-engraved paintings.
Each cap is carefully selected and positioned on a plywood plate, then engraved pixel by pixel to represent detailed and evocative images.
Pixel Wine's works are not just pieces of art; They tell a story of sustainability and innovation.
Eric's collaboration with the association "Agir Cancer Gironde" adds a philanthropic dimension to his work.
By recycling corks to create works of art, he supports cancer research while raising awareness about the importance of recycling and sustainability.
Eric Micouleau aspires to share his art with the world and to inspire with the originality and depth of his creations.
