Melnikova

Anna Melnikova is a graphic designer, artist, art photographer, associate professor, master of art history. 

She was born on June 14, 1986, Belarus.

In 2011 she graduated from the Department of Graphic Design of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. In 2012 she graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts with a degree in Art History. In 2015, she completed her postgraduate studies at the Academy of Arts with a degree in Design and Technical Aesthetics and received a scientific qualification as a "researcher" in the field of fine arts.

Associate Professor of the Department of Graphic Design of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts from 2011 to 2022, Minsk (Belarus). From 2018 to 2020 she was the Acting Head of the Graphic Design Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. Since 2022, she is the chairman of the graphic design and photography section of the "Belarusian Union of Artists".

Creatively works in the field of graphics, art photography (the main activity is focused on experimental and alternative photography and old manual techniques for printing photographic images). 

Participant of more than 100 republican and international exhibitions and projects, including 7 personal exhibitions (four personal exhibitions were held in Italy, two of which were in Rome and three solo exhibitions in Belarus). 

Laureate and finalist of republican and international competitions and projects. Works are in private collections of Belarus, Italy, France, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic.

Member of the graphic design section of the "Belarusian Union of Artists" since 2015. Chairman of the graphic design section of the "Belarusian Union of Artists" since 2022.

Member of the Council of the "Belarusian Union of Designers".

Member of the alternative photography association Gruppo Rodolfo Namias (GRN). Parma, Italy.
