Carlo Alberto lives in Italy,
a few kilometres from Rome.
For
years, he has dedicated himself to woodworking and restoration.
His
new project Quilio Natural Design is based on careful research of
natural materials that he recovers and restores by giving them a
second life.
He
collects lifeless branches, twigs, and roots from nature without
damaging, cutting or uprooting trees from the earth.
The
material found in the undergrowth becomes a sculpture that simulates
nature itself.
All
his works are determined by the recycling of materials, in search of
an original and personal message.
He
has always been involved in artistic contexts, in fact, music also
plays a fundamental part of his life, especially jazz which is also a
background inspiration of all his pieces.
