Maureen Bator was introduced to contemporary art through dance practices. She joined the training cycle of P.A.R.T.S where she will explore the choreographic materials of Trisha Brown, ANNE TERESA de Keersmaeker and Boris Charmatz among others...
In 2019, she began her career as a dancer in the company ULTIMA VEZ (BE) for the pieces of "TRACES", "Scattered memories" and "Hands do not touch your precious ME" in collaboration with the plastic artist Olivier de Sagazan, who will invite her to take part in the performance "La messe de l'Âne".
To this day, Maureen is developing her own works as a young creator under the collective La 360, with the works of "Pillow Safety" and "Anatomical Venus" in co-writting with Sarah Deppe. Her artworks revolve around the female body as an archive and a conductor of traumas.
