Argentinian visual artist Liliana Masserini studied at the Escuela Lagarrigue in Buenos Aires
and in Fashion Design and Advertising Drawing in Mexico. She began her training in Fine Arts
with a classical approach and later explored abstract art. In her abstract work, shapes and
colors invite the viewer on a journey of introspection and discovery, where chaos and order
coexist in harmony.
Currently, Masserini, who lived in Mexico for over 20 years, is dedicated to hyperrealism.
In this technique, each detail and shadow results from hours of observation and patience.
People come to life beyond mere visual representation, in an act of deep contemplation for the
artist, where she develops a silent dialogue between herself and her subject to portray.
With over 30 years of experience, she has worked with various materials, including charcoal,
acrylic on canvas, pencils, and chalk pastels. Her latest participation is in the exhibition “
The Meam Hall” in New York, which will be open until August 2024, and later in Barcelona,
Spain, where she presents two of her works, "Mai" and "Pain".
