Humap

Ilaria Marzano is an architect and designer based in Milan, specializing in data visualization, graphics, and map illustration. Her work combines an inherent fascination with urban environments and cartography – a direct result of her architectural education – and a deep passion for graphic design, art, and illustration.

Her strong curiosity about the evolving dynamics among the environment, cities, and human beings sparked her journey into data visualization and mapmaking. In 2021, she founded Humap, a platform promoting data culture from a creative perspective. She also shares her ongoing research journey through personal projects and training sessions to create maps and infographics.

She collaborates with architecture studios, designers, and brands, taking care of design, graphics, and data visualization for projects ranging from architectural concepts to installations and research.
