Kim Martins (Lucas Riecken Martins Teixeira, 1995) is a Brazilian-Swiss sound artist, composer and researcher of sound languages, graduated in visual arts from the University of Brasília and currently a Masters student on the Sound Studies and Sonic Arts program in UDK Berlin. His work primarily investigates processes of language expansion in sound compositions and their embodiment through materiality in audio technologies together with visual articulations. Kim articulates these sound-visual systems in the form of installations and sculptures, which compose immersive ethereal atmospheres, create, alter and amplify spaces. Fluid environments that dissolve the linear perspective and condense themselves in the present, in the feeling and in the sharing of the collective sensitive space.
Brazilian/Swiss Sound artist and composer residing in Berlin and master student at UDK SoundS.
