It was during my 2 and a half years of human and professional experience in Montreal that I realised the infinite possibilities offered by digital art. Firstly, when I was employed by Mirari (formerly HUB Studio) as communications manager, where I was able to observe the harmonious combination of live art and digital art; and secondly, as artistic director of the Bonimenteurs collective, where I was able to combine these two disciplines.
Following the COVID-19 context, which closed off any professional future in Montreal during that period, I seized the opportunity to work with a scenographer in Liège for 6 months. This experience confirmed my desire to pursue this path. I've decided to go back to school in 2021 to study for a bachelor's degree in set design at La Cambre in Brussels. Alongside my studies, I've been designing and building sets on which I do VJing. I started this practice in the festive environment and I'm starting to extend my discipline to mapping in general, in a context of mediation and/or contemplation.
I'm delighted to have finished these three very rewarding years a few weeks ago, so that from now on I can devote myself entirely to my discipline and create numerous artistic projects combining live art and digital creations. I'm also currently working on the set design for a monologue, ‘Croire aux fauves’, which will run from 24 September to 5 October 2024 at the Théâtre “Océan Nord”.
