Marie
Elisabeth Rubin is graduate of France’s Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts
Décoratifs (Paris).
She became
an industrial designer and created large number of new products and concepts for
large companies. She always practiced rapid sketches so that innovating ideas
emerge from abstract thinking, like spontaneous and unconscious writing.
Since 2009
she also has been teaching sketches to engineers in charge of innovation.
As an artist she observes the nature,
every kind of life, transformation, adaptation, destruction and rebirth. She
still uses the same kind of ballpoint pens when she was industrial designer.
But now she draws on canvas and plays with irregularity of the surface.
She still draws very quickly, trying
not to control hand, she makes appear movements characters and make us
recognize the abysmal deepness of
humanity.
