Ana Esther Maqueda, born in Jaén, holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the Miguel Hernández University of Elche with Cum Laude and her publications include her doctoral thesis on nature and landscape in the arts of the twentieth century (May 2014). She has been a speaker at the European University of Madrid in the Festival of Art and Architecture and Design 2020 during the conference held last February. She has participated as coordinator and speaker in several editions of the Support/Surface International Congress, among other papers and theoretical research activities.
Since 2017, she combines her teaching profession with research and plastic creation, carrying out participations in individual exhibitions as well as in contemporary art fairs.
