I am Italia Maldonado, a Mexican living in the United States trying to pursue my dreams. I am 23 years old and I recently moved to the United States. i also discovered I was an artist; when I was a kid, I constantly felt bad because all the other kids would doodle pretty and nice, and all I doodle didn’t have sense. Then with the years, I discovered that I needed to take my time and try to get every line close to perfection so I could create something. Now I enjoy the art process, from the first hint of an idea to the final piece. I draw most of the time, but I don't stop there; currently, I am finishing my Associates in Arts and I've been taking different art classes, such as Art History, Drawing, Painting, and even Ceramics. During this time in college, I have been exposed to two art shows. The first one was part of my drawing class to present for the college, and the second one was a Jury Exhibition; I submitted three pieces and all of them were selected to appear in the show. When I finish with my Associates I am transferring to a four-year university to get a bachelor's in Interior Design, because besides arts, I also like Architecture, and the career I chose is a good mix of both of my passions.
