Vilnius based artist Pavel Malakhov has been honing his skills in the art of depicting the human body. Originally trained in traditional styles, Pavel transitioned to digital art. In his work, he experiments with form, blending a deep understanding of anatomy with a personal style to explore the beauty of the human figure. He often uses black and red tones, referencing the earliest human artworks created with ochre and charcoal.
Pavel’s interest in human beauty allows him to bring a crucial element to his work - an idea or a question. This approach helps to insert a deep meaning into his figures and drawings and reflects his personal thoughts and concepts.
Pavel is also actively involved in the game development industry. He led the visual direction of Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story and contributed to the development of Stranger Sins (DLC for Graveyard Keeper) and Punch Club 2: Fast Forward, all released internationally, including on Steam. His work in game development includes the full artistic production pipeline: from defining visual styles and creating concept art to mentoring junior artists and maintaining a consistent artistic vision across projects.
