Elena Mahoney

Growing up with the intention of standing out in something is a very common thing. In my case, my fixation with visual art and the desperate need to make something of myself led me down the path of fine arts. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in art, I dropped the design module to go straight into a fine art degree at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Starting with design subjects, I gradually managed to find my identity as an artist, or rather, the language with which I wanted to communicate myself. Thus beginning, after five years of self-discovery, my career as an always evolving painter.
