Since my earliest years, art has been an integral part of my world. I grew up in my father’s studio — a passionate draftsman specializing in charcoal and graphite. Watching his movements, his precision, and the inhabited silence of his creations was my first school. Naturally, I followed in his footsteps, rigorously training in classical drawing techniques with discipline and dedication.
Over the years, I refined my approach, striving to master the subtleties of black and white, of light and shadow. Yet, with time, a deeper need emerged: to expand my artistic language, to explore new materials, to give greater scope to my expression.
It was in oil painting that I found this freedom. Inspired by the great masters — both figurative and abstract — I began to experiment, to deconstruct, to blend styles and eras in order to develop an aesthetic that is uniquely my own. The richness of texture, the depth of color, the slow drying process that invites reflection — everything in this medium pushes me further.
Today, my style stands at the intersection of realism and surrealism. Through this dialogue, I seek to give visible form to abstract concepts: fragments of the unconscious, inner states, invisible tensions. My portraits thus become spaces of metamorphosis, where flesh and spirit merge, and where the imaginary takes on material presence.
