Lubomirov

I was born in Bulgaria in 1978. I studied fine art foundation at the Mary Warde adult education college in London 2003-2005, followed by BA Fine Art at University of East London from 2004. I make finely layered sculpture, which deals with time as a process and a tangible physical form. I have exhibited in the UK and internationally, including Milan, Venice, Athens, and Berlin. I am also a curator and have curated at two galleries prior to finding my own project space - Cable Depot - in 2019. My work was for a long time collaborative, reflecting my life as a curator, but since COVID I have started to make work alone again and am submitting one new object created in 2021, which sits between painting and sculpture.
