I was born in a city in northern Portugal in 1960. My professional path was closely linked to healthcare, having earned a degree in Dentistry.

From the age of 30, I developed a growing interest in the arts, particularly painting. I began studying and experimenting through a variety of courses, workshops, and training programs, which enabled me to acquire skills in drawing and painting techniques, explore different materials, and engage with new artistic perspectives, especially the history of art.

This journey through painting has become, for me, a challenging and deeply enriching discovery.

It allows me to cope more positively with anxiety and with the sense of not quite belonging that has accompanied me throughout my life.

In painting, I have found a space for expression, balance, and freedom, where I can transform my emotions and give them new meaning.
