Diletta Carmela Lo Guzzo born in Carignano (TO) on 5
September 1975. After studying Literature and Philosophy at the University of
Bologna (DAMS) she moved to Brera Academy of Fine Arts where she graduated in
Painting with a thesis about Eva Hesse. She studies with Maurizio Arcangeli,
Letizia Cariello, Roberto Casiraghi, Maria Tcholakova and Thomas Lange. He
deepens techniques and artistic languages in various workshops with Silvia
Camporesi, Jessica Backhaus and Mark Steinmetz, approaching photography.
From 2000 to 2005 she collaborated as press office and
organizer for:
- Festival of Porto Venere (SP) Teatro Donna
- Theater show Where are you going, Francesco? (with Milena
Vukotic, directed by Maria Teresa Elena), commissioned by the Municipality of
Arezzo, for the program launched by the National Committee for the Guidonian
Celebrations of the Jubilee Year
- Festival delle Rocche, Montà d’Alba (CN) for the Teatro
della Terra Association
- Word Fair, with Olivetti Historical Archive, Ivrea (TO)
In 2001 she was the editor of Televideo News for Mandragola
Editrice, Televideo RAI.
She lives and loves in Milan from 2004 to 2016. In 2014 her
husband suddenly dies, an event that will definitively change the course of her
existence and will affect the artistic project. In 2016, with his son Olmo, he
moved to Turin.
Since 2016 he has been part of the artistic collective
RAGAZZE PER SEMPRE.
In 2017 he founded, with the choreographer Enrica Brizzi and
the playwright Cristina Sertorio, the cultural association LA STANZA.
At the end of 2017 he joined the board of the cultural
association Pottery Lab, an association that deals with the dissemination of
the culture of ceramic arts. In the same year he created the brand of porcelain
cups Ladiletta.
