Lenore Linza (Линор Линза) is a Russian conceptual
artist. Since 1982 she lives and works in Saint Petersburg. Her work consists
of creating artist's books, objects, installations (fabric, cardboard, wood,
copper wire), based on ideas of cosmism and space exploration. She
conceptualized her artistic work around the notion of time and futurology, and
her artist’s worldview named “t-kosmizm”. Lenore Linza is developing a calendar from the field of conceptual art with the dominant February 29 as the main holiday of planet Earth. He also proposes to update the state symbols of Russia.
She presented her theoretical
and artistic work at public and scientific conferences, she also performed and
exhibited her project in galleries. Lenore Linza is a member of the Russian
Philosophical Society and Professional Union of Russian Artists.
The books are in the
collections of famous libraries of the world.
