Li

Jiaqi Li focuses on the field of visual art, specializing in painting and object making. He focuses on the logic of desire and capital consumption, as well as the gray area between simulation and reality. His works feature popular cultural imagery, celebrating an electronic vibe and a fast-paced lifestyle. He earned his BFA from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (2019) and MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as a China Scholarship Council-sponsored student (2021). Now he is pursuing his PhD at City University of Hong Kong, and was awarded the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship.
