Emily Lau (b. 2005, Frisco, Texas) is an artist based in Savannah, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Painting at SCAD. Her practice is materially driven and conceptually rigorous, often unfolding through paired compositions that examine identity not as a fixed condition, but as an evolving negotiation shaped by environment, culture, and perception.

Her paintings reflect a sustained inquiry into intimacy, representation, and the politics of looking.
