I am a software developer with a lifelong passion for art. Although much of my learning has been self-directed, I also pursued formal training in Quebec City, where I studied drawing and painting part-time for three years. During this time, I explored various techniques, including "demi pâte française" under the guidance of Denis Jacques.
To further enhance my skills, I have participated in several online mentorships, including one-on-one critiques with Stephen Bauman, which helped refine my approach to contemporary realism. I also attended summer workshops at the Grand Central Atelier, focusing on portrait drawing with Chelsea Bard and Tyler Berry, and most recently, painting with Patrick Byrnes.
My dedication to my craft was acknowledged when my drawing was selected as a finalist in an internal competition organized by the Florence Academy of Art. This journey reflects my commitment to continuous growth in the arts, blending my technical background as a developer with my passion for creative expression.
