Veronika Kyrychenko was born in 1966 in a small village in the Ural Mountains in a Ukrainian family of a soldier and a seamstress. The family returned to Ukraine in 1972 where they have lived ever since.
In 1992 she got her bachelor degree in biology at National City University, Dnipro and in 1999 she completed her PhD.
In 2004 she received her second BA in psychology at Sevastopol City University.
Between 1996-2018 Veronica worked as a lecturer at university teaching physiology and psychology.
From 2006 she started working as a consulting psychologist and from 2008 onwards Veronika started introducing elements of art therapy in her sessions.
In 2009 took part in the art exhibition “Sophia” hosted in the Nizhny Novgorod art museum.
In 2011 Veronika had her debut solo exhibition in Dnipro, Ukraine, where she presented her early graphics and watercolours.
Most of Veronika´s recent paintings are done in oil on canvas. Her first collection of 335 paintings reflects on the emotional journey of living through the military conflict in Eastern Ukraine and her frequent trips to Europe.
ArthouseVK has been approached by various exhibitions and art collectors such as Saachi Art, M.A.D.S Milano, WorldArtWeek, Azure Gallery Madrid, Van Gogh Art Gallery, Premio Gugliemo II and Luxembourg Art Prize.
