Goen Hauw Kwee (Surabaya, 1964) is a multidisciplinary Dutch
Visual Artist, specialised in themes of Womanity and Fempowerment. From early
youth on, he recognized the strength and wisdom of the exemplary women in his
life. To start with his Chinese-Indonesian mother, he learned strong patience and great modesty as
his first core-values. His Bi-Cultural upbringing in the Netherlands was the
foundation of his eclectic and generalistic take and perspective on life and of his mission to create a better society and world with creativity, culture and the arts.
His teen-girlfriends taught him intimacy and vulnerability
and uncertainty to consider. And the burgeoning discovery of blossoming
sexuality turned him into a lifelong admirer and supporter of the great
feminine values, like sharing and tenderness and sprituality and especially the
matriarchy.
His first great love showed him the path of surrender and
unconditional love, and the loss of innocence when life shows its unmerciful
toll on supposedly immense love. The naivety and hurt helped him in his work as
an international Communication-Consultant to develop his soft skills of emotional intelligence, motivating and team-building, and persevering and delivering when the going got tough in the (Asian)
corporate circles.
Maturing in life meant also a proclivity and growing
admiration for the brains, brawn, beauty, and incredible diversity of the bandwiths of female artists, of whom he
learned a lot while developing his several visual skills of Drawing, Painting,
Design, Photography, Videography, and 3D-VFX&Animation. The synthesis and
cross-overs of these visual disciplines allow him to distill a unique “Look&Feel”
to his signature art-collage-style.
His calling became his profession by gradually becoming an
Artepreneur-Coach to instill sound Business-Principles and Best-Practices in
collaborative international Art&Culture-projects, with amazing glocal Artists
and Artisans, in all creative forms and shapes and colors, musical, theatrical,
visual, with literature, to installations, to AR and XR-Technologies, always and
forever innovating inspiration for impact. His latest development is in Artivism,
art for raising awareness and as a solution in the fields against growing Surveilance-Capitalism
and fighting Violence against Women.
His last great feminine love showed him and brought him the
gift of undauntedness and courage in the face of the greatest suffering and the
most terrible sickness, and transcended his understanding of human abilities
and capacities to a cosmological appreciation of the Art of Living and of the
crucial role of creativity, culture and the arts for that, on a personal, local,
societal and global level.
Goen Hauw Kwee proudly serves, protects and provides for
his Muses and his much lauded and revered Goddess of Omnicreativity, for them to
bestow their graces and creative favors to create a better, more joyfull and
