My figurative paintings have developed out of abstraction.
Whenever a series of works has been completed, I follow it up with a further, independent series in which the new theme determines the forthcoming process. The various different painting surfaces I use, like canvas, wood or alu-dibond, attest my interest in the individual nature of each respective work influenced by the variety of materials employed. For the most part, however, I use oil on canvas for my subjects. I have a wide range of interests that often require a different technique, forcing me to adapt and experiment. My work is in both private and corporate collections in New York, Toronto, Singapore and Europe.
