He completed postgraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź under the supervision of professors Zbigniew Nowicki and Tomasz Musial.
He has been sketching for as long as he can remember. As a teenager, he was preparing to study at the Academy of Fine Arts. Ultimately, he chose technical studies on technical university in Lodz.
After many years, in the post-pandemic times, he returned to painting as a form of meditation and relaxation.
For him, painting is a form of a diary of his way of life while traveling. When visiting the Old Continent, he first creates sketches and small forms in watercolors. Then he transfers the most interesting frames into large-format acrylic and oil paintings.
His compositions are dominated by maritime themes. The sea is one of the main inspirations. The elements of water and air presented there, seemingly calm, hide the power and strength of the wind as a symbol of freedom and the power of nature.
He creates his paintings using quick sketches in pencil, felt-tip pens, charcoal, through landscapes painted with watercolors, to paintings made in his personal atelier with acrylics or oil paints. Most of them are created based on his favorite three colors: ultramarine, sienna and white. To suit the theme, supplemented with ochre and carmine.
