I’m Wuttinun Kotisathiankul (Wuko) , a Thai artist influenced by Oriental mythology, draws inspiration from a childhood immersed in the rich culture of growing up in a Chinese - Buddhist family. Wuko’s art, often described as a blend of manga characters, delves into the complexities of human belief through my signature character “Buddhie” inspired by Buddha. Navigating the intersection of spirituality and social life , Wuko sparks contemplation on the diverse and sometimes perplexing nature of our beliefs.
Wuko has exhibited at Sol Gallery (Melbourne, 2024) and recently completed an artist residency in Chengdu, China. His current collaborations include a mixed-media commission with Havaianas Thailand and the City of Sydney’s Banner Gallery for the 2026 Lunar Festival
