Jelena Kostić was born in 1985 in Belgrade, Serbia. She earned her first Master's degree in Photography in 2009 from the University of Arts/Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. Her second Master's degree, specializing in new technologies in photography, was awarded in 2017 from the Academy of Fine Arts Brera in Milan, Italy. Jelena worked as a photographer for Elle Serbia for four years and also provided photo retouching services for high-profile clients such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Bottega Veneta, Boggi Milano, and Furla, among others. Her photograph, The Princess and the Pea, was nominated among the top ten best fashion photographs in the amateur category at the Sony World Photography Awards in Cannes, France. Jelena has participated in group exhibitions across Serbia, Greece, the UK, France, Italy, and beyond. Her work has been featured in publications including Italian Vogue, Elle Serbia, Elle Décor Serbia, Professional Photographer, Bazar, Joy, and many others.
