With a background in textile art and design, I prefer working with flexible materials. But I also see the challenge of shaping my visual language in the contrast with hard materials like slate or wood. I don't work from sketches but let the materials themselves guide me. Additions of transparent layers and manual or mechanical processing create a new image and a new, unique image.
