József Kordás – painter Born April 18, 1952, Pusztaszer, Hungary Studied at Janus Pannonius University of Pécs (1973–74), under Dr. József Pandur and Elemér Soltra. Kordás’s work resists classification within prevailing art movements and remains untouched by the stylistic influence of canonical figures. His abstract compositions are defined by bold, saturated color and a distinctly original formal vocabulary. Each painting is a visual manifestation of instinct-driven inner states.
