I was born in South Korea and my education was in the UK where I lived since the age of 13. After my degree on History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Arts(London) I went back to Korea and started painting back there. I found in painting and drawing a way to communicate without words. After an invitation to participate at the residence in France in 2014, I decided to do a master degree there and obtained one at the Paris Diderot(7) on Lettres, arts, literature et pensées contemporaines. Since I live in between France and Korea and continue on working. Equally interested in theatre, films, writings and music, I try to bring all the creative elements into my pieces. I think of painting and drawing as a form of diary without words but colours and lines. The I of today paint the I of yesterday.
