Fabian Kindermann (b. 1994, Austria) is a self-taught contemporary artist based in Vienna. His practice arises from an intuitive, physical process in which each painting becomes a psychological map of its moment. Working with acrylic, marble dust, gel, and mixed media, he builds layered surfaces where fragments, textures, and symbols emerge from the unconscious.
Recurring motifs—eyes, spirals, openings, figures—are never planned but surface unexpectedly, reflecting a dialogue between control and surrender. At times painting directly with his hands, Kindermann allows gesture and touch to guide his compositions. His works oscillate between clarity and dissolution, inviting viewers to encounter memory, perception, and the unspoken dimensions of inner life.
