Tatjana Kilibarda was born in an artistic family in the former Yugoslavia. She finished her higher education in Paris at the Sorbonne and L’Académie Internationale de Coupe de Paris (Vauclair-Darroux). Since the late 1970s, she has practiced art and design in Paris, Belgrade, Toronto, and Washington, D.C., working in fashion design, mural painting, portraiture, and conceptual art. Her work has explored themes of materialism and spirituality; feminine energy and resilience; and, the 'warrior spirit' animating our lifecycle.
