I am a member of BBK Berufsverband Bildender Künstler (German professional association of visual artists),
and GEDOK, Gemeinschaft der Künstlerinnen und Kunstfördernden (German
association of female artists and art funders).
In addition, I am a member of several artist
associations: Freiburg, Germany, Weil am Rhein, Germany, Loerrach,
Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland.
The Basel School of Applied Arts (SfG) has been an important point of reference for me for many years. The evening classes I attended over a number of years during my previous professional career provided the foundation for my current artistic work. Later, I was fortunate enough to study painting under wonderful teachers who generously shared their time, knowledge, and skills with me, among them Johannes Buchholz (now Berlin and Essen, Germany), Margret McCann and Elizabeth Allison (New York, U.S.A.), Mag. Bogdan Pascu (Vienna, Austria), Jennifer Pochinski, BFA (Providence, RI, U.S.A.), and last, but not least, Prof. Markus Lüpertz (Berlin, Germany).
My
works belong to private collections around the world, including Basel
(Switzerland), Berlin (Germany), Düsseldorf (Germany), Hamburg (Germany), Hong
Kong (China), Minneapolis (MN, USA), New York City (NYC, USA), Sao Paolo
(Brazil), Vancouver (Canada), Vienna (Austria), and Zurich (Switzerland).
I also hold an MSc in Higher Education and Epistemology by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), U.K.
